The Symphony Hall in Birmingham is a purpose built music venue just off the city centre around the Brindleyplace/International Convention Centre area. The Symphony Hall was opened in 1991 at a cost of £30 million and seats 2262 people. I’ve personally listened to several concerts here including Jethro Tull but have also seen an opera here. This venue is definitely worth visiting even just to see it if you can.

I took this image while studying my photography degree with a brief of capturing the interior of both the Symphony and Town Hall’s in Birmingham. A lot of my classmates took regular still shots but I wanted to capture something different so shot a 360 degree HDR panoramic. I’m leaning less towards HDR now but I really enjoyed shooting this image and continue to shoot images like this whenever I have the time.
